  • This area is on the western slopes of the north end of the Santa Rita Mountains.  The Rosemont Mine is on the opposite side of the mountains. The grasslands flourish north of Madera Canyon and east of Sahuarita in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains, a Sky Island in the Coronado National Forest, Sonoran Desert, Arizona, USA.
