A Mexican Grey Wolf, (Canis lupus spp. baileyi), an endangered species, resides at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The ASDM spearheaded a captive breeding program that is restoring the wolf population. A reintroduction campaign is attempting to restore wolves to their rightful place in the mountains of the Southwest.
