Yokebed Rached, 5, of Mexico City, slept in the sand in the desert for seven nights with her sister, Samantha, 10, and mother, Elizabeth Nava Ausin, 32, before crossing into the U.S. illegally from Mexico near Lukeville, Arizona. Their trip to Phoenix ended when a Border Patrol agent noticed the weighted bed of the picked truck carrying 18 illegal immigrants and stopped the vehicle. She waits on a bus in Sells to be deported.
